About Home Church Squared and WA Organic Church Network
We concern ourselves solely with the basic, most fundamental aspect of what it means to be church: Transformed people living life together in fellowship, accountability, prayer, and fun. We appreciate what one writer has said about the house/organic church model: "We lower the bar of what it means to 'do' church, and raise the bar of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ" (Neil Cole,
Organic Church). We spend our time and effort being with people, living life together, and traveling on the journey of faith in community. We are found in various locations throughout the greater Seattle and Portland areas.
What is the difference between Home Church Squared and the WA Organic
Church Network? Not much, really.
Home Church Squared is a group of churches that are specifically connected
with similar vision and passions. These are churches who are linked through partnership, mentoring, and accountability. Contact Eric and Kim directly for more information on how to be part of this group.
Currently we have groups meeting in both the Seattle and Portland areas. If you would like to know if a church is meeting near you, or even begin in your home, feel free to contact us!
Continued Training for Leaders
The WA Organic Church Network is a more loosely connected group of people,
created to build a supportive learning environment for like-minded organic
church planters. These gatherings happen one time a month, usually for about
2 to 3 hours on weekends so as to included bi-vocational Christian leaders. Each gathering will equip participants for a greater harvest of disciples, leaders, and churches through teaching, interaction, worksheets, reflection, worship, prayer and relationships. This group will be starting in April 2009 after the next Greenhouse Intensive Training Weekend.

Who are Eric and Kim?
Eric and Kimberly Lee (Home Church Leaders and WA OCN Organizers)
We have been married since 1995, and have one beautiful son. We are Northwest natives, and have served on staff of churches of various sizes, in a multiple of ways. Eric received his M.Div & MA in Intercultural Studies from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, CA. The Lord has given us a love for the church, and a passion to see it grow. Many people associate
house church with those who might be disillusioned or burnt out from larger, more traditional churches. Not so with us. Our desire for house church planting does not rise from any bad experience, or disillusionment, rather a simple desire to live simply with believers, and to see our communities transformed right where God has placed us.
